Is the character that you are posting from the character in question, Fryylock? Also, can you tell me what dungeon it is you are running? |
***Edited for Accuracy*** There are a few mails that will come from other addresses, typically informative e-mails that have little to do with support.
While paying close attention to the sender of an e-mail is important, and a good habit to have, it is not enough to keep ahead of phishing e-mails, Ljyieguwlahs. E-mail addresses can be (and are) spoofed to make it look official. If you are looking to improve your knowledge of how to stay ahead of the game, I would check out the following Support Article:

As a general reminder, please keep this conversation constructive. If you don't have anything constructive to add to the conversation, it may be better that you simply don't add to it.
If it is verbal harassment that you are dealing with, you should be able to Shift+Left Click the name, while the Submit a Ticket is open, and it will autofill the name into that window. If that is not an option, you may always describe the name to the Game Master. An example would be the name Ãuryk - you can simply say that the name is Auryk with a symbol over the "A" the better you can describe that symbol the easier it will be for use. The Game Master staff is pretty good about finding such characters though. :0) |
That is not completely accurate, Gungbrah. While the Authenticator does add an extra level of security, it does not make your account invulnerable.
I think that statement is a little unfair if a claim when you say that you are unwilling, for your own reasons that I will not ask you to go into, to use the contact information that we provide, and ask that you utilize should you require assistance in such a situation. Billing & Account Services: does not work solely through phone-calls. They may be reached by any of the following contact methods:

Please understand that the locking of account(s) in this manner is not an attempt to punish the owner of the account . It is a security measure to help ensure that the account did not fall in to the hands of someone that is not the account owner. Keep in mind that only two people are EVER allowed to access an account (from the moment the account is created to the end of time). The first is the person who set up the account in their own name (you aren't allowed to set up an account in any name other than your own legal name). The second is one (1) of the children or trustees (under age 18) of the first person. Not siblings, not parents, not spouses, not friends, not strangers. That being said, you may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, and any such attempt shall be null and void. Blizzard owns, has licensed, or otherwise has rights to all of the content that appears in the Game. These rules are as stated in the Terms of Use agreement which can be found here: (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/wow_tou.html). |
There’s not much I can say to your proposal, Minihitbox. As long as this conversation remains constructive, I’ll let this thread continue to grow. I did, however, want to speak to the following post:
That couldn't be further from the truth, Westridge. Please understand that while the optional Mature Language Filter is a great tool to help make World of Warcraft a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, it does not excuse any player from adhering to our policies regarding communicating in the game (or on the forums). The Terms of Use define Rules of Conduct that must be followed when playing World of Warcraft, including rules related to chat and interaction with other players. Any breach of these terms can, and often does, result in an account penalty ranging from a warning to closure of the account. The severity of the penalty is based on the severity of the infraction and how often a player has violated our policies in the past. |
I would like to take this opportunity to point out that Ongoing Harassment is something that we do take seriously, and we do take action when we feel that it is needed. The Game Master department often requests that you add players to the ignore list, to help eliminate the interactions and alleviate the stress that harassment can bring.
That being said, please understand that the Game Masters do actually look into a report before taking action on an account. We have extensive logs and in cases where both players are combative we often times action both players, regardless of who petitioned. It is your responsibility to adhere to the policies we have set forth, regardless of someone badgering you or not. Jiudecca, I don’t know the entire situation surrounding your issue, and I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Based on the notes on your account, though, it does appear that this situation isn’t as clear cut as you make it out to be. I would strongly suggest that both you and your girlfriend ignore your former Guild Leader. If policies are violated, feel free to report him; but don’t let him bait you. |
We are aware of the continuing issues with Stormrage. Our staff is in the midst of working to resolve this issue, but situations of this nature are often not receptive to rapid resolutions and it may take time before they can be resolved. Please trust that while an immediate resolution may not currently be available, the situation has our full attention and your game play represents our highest priority.
In the event that there are any further developments, we will endeavor to provide that information as soon as it becomes available either via the Service Status forum or here on the Customer Support forum: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2456448657 |
As with any other stuck issue, Lokio, the best solution would be to log into an alternate character and submit a petition with the phrase "stuck" within the text. Our Game Master department will do their best to assist you as quickly as possible.

***Quoted for Turtle*** As Zouche pointed out with the linked Support Article, you are able to gain access to the X-53 Touring Rocket even after the 90 day link has expired. This is true for all account based rewards - in essence the 30 day game time reward for any player that you recruit who upgrades to a full retail version of World of Warcraft and the rocket mount |
If you want to pray to Elune or An'she you are more than welcome to. What's more, you can feel free to praise their names on the highest mountains in Storm Peaks. I think you are missing the point to my post, though, Ryimozz. There is no place for real world religious views in Azeroth; no matter what they are.
Thought you said this wasn’t a troll thread? I’d recommend not admitting to violating a policy to someone that could potentially suspend you for it. :0P |
Ryimozz. Atheism would be ones views or beliefs on religion, Ryimozz. Therefore it would fall under the same clause - it's as simple as that.
That name is even called out within our policy, Jilluckjr, under the Inappropriate section. (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/20368).
Please understand, though, that our Harassment and Naming policies call upon you-our players-to report any violations. The Game Master staff will then investigate the violation and take actions according to our policies. |
***Quoted for Turtle*** When merging two World of Warcraft accounts into a single Battle.net account you retain both of the original accounts, Doitforjohny. You are simply able to access them both under one Battle.net account. You wouldn’t lose any characters, or items. You would, however, still be required to keep an active subscription on both accounts, if you would like to play them both. If you want to condense your playing experience to one account it would require you to transfer characters over to one single World of Warcraft account. The ten character limit-per realm-would still apply if this was the approach you decided to take. |

That e-mail was not sent by a Blizzard Representative, Heygorgeous. I'd ask that you forward that e-mail, headers and all, to our Hacks Team at: [email protected].

It looks like the realm seized up and kicked most of the population, but recovered and the population jumped back up to it's previous state within a few minutes, Nèopagan. While hiccups like these are monitored, they are typically not reported on within the forums. This is due to the fact that they are no longer an issue by the time we can get a post up. If the issue sticks around for a few minutes, that is when we will look into getting messaging out.
Are you still having trouble logging into the realm? |
Based solely on the information you provided in this thread my thoughts on the matter are that, as long as the gold is being legitimately gained, Zooeey, I do not see an issue with these actions.

What it comes down to is that Blizzard Entertainment has decided to create a specific type of that it is against the rules, and that we do not want such language in our game, Kegof. If you decide to break the rules you chance getting actioned. There is no way around that. Chat filter or not. It is no more legal to break into someone's house simply because they don't have a their home security alarm set. Think of the chat filter as just that, an extra, optional, tool that can be used to keep such language away. |
Please understand that while the optional Mature Language Filter is a great tool to help make World of Warcraft a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, Petrovah, it does not excuse any player from adhering to our policies regarding communicating in the game.
