Guild Name question

blizz -> wysłany:
I want to form a guild called [League of Atheism]

I red the ToU and i saw something that had to do with you can't make a guild about a religon IRL...

BUT! NEWS FLASH! Atheism is not a religon!
So will i be allowed to form this guild?

Yes or No anwsers only if you're gonna flame about it.

If you have something constructive to say, then go for it.
blizz -> wysłany:
Ryimozz. Atheism would be ones views or beliefs on religion, Ryimozz. Therefore it would fall under the same clause - it's as simple as that.

I don't understand this rule. You see so many priests with the name "Jesus," I don't see the problem with that guild name...

That name is even called out within our policy, Jilluckjr, under the Inappropriate section. (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/20368).

    This category includes both clear and masked names which:

  • Are mildly inappropriate references to human anatomy or bodily functions
  • Are references to illegal drugs or activities
  • Have neutral or positive racial/ethnic/national connotations
  • Have any connotations of major religions or religious figures (i.e. Jesus, Christianity, Buddha)

Please understand, though, that our Harassment and Naming policies call upon you-our players-to report any violations. The Game Master staff will then investigate the violation and take actions according to our policies.
blizz -> wysłany:
If you want to pray to Elune or An'she you are more than welcome to. What's more, you can feel free to praise their names on the highest mountains in Storm Peaks. I think you are missing the point to my post, though, Ryimozz. There is no place for real world religious views in Azeroth; no matter what they are.

(btw a green and blue alreadY!? SCORE FOR TROLL THREAD)

Thought you said this wasn’t a troll thread? I’d recommend not admitting to violating a policy to someone that could potentially suspend you for it. :0P

Cutting the pretentious double standards would be beneficial for everyone.

Not furthering a discussion on a subject that is not appropriate for this game or these forums would be a good idea as well.

I believe that is my cue to lock this one up.
