Will you be logging in as soon as BfA goes live ?
And will you stay on until you are 120 ?

My 4 weeks of holidays start on the 7th Aug, so a full week to myself to get as much content and farming finished as possible before BfA (want to finish getting all the weaps my rogue can equip from the Argus rares and invasion mini bosses).

On the 14th, I will therefore be there at 12 am, and will play and play without a break until this toon is 120.

(Great when holidays coincide with launches :P)
How many max lv chars do you have ?” wysłany:
Over the weekend I finished levelling my 8th char (not bad for someone who never even thought of the word alt). (However they're all only being used for extra drop chances at mounts, toys, mogs etc)

How many max lv chars do you have ?
This morning after forking out 300k for Plaguehound Leggings (an almost non existant drop from Stratholme) it got me thinking, what's the most you've spent on stuff ?

Mount: 500k Lightforged Warframe.

Gear: 300k Plaguehound Leggings.

Toy: 425k Experimental Goblin Weather Machine.
The one character talked about the most on the forums, whether from a good pov or a bad one, is unquestionably Sylvanas Windrunner.

Sure, she's died 3 times (that we know of) at the current count, but she's still going strong.

It therefore begs the question, "Do you think Sylvanas will ever actually 'die'?"

I think she won't.

For starters, here on Earth, there would be so many tears that it would make Noah's 'rain for 40 days and nights' look like a little puddle.

Serious money will have to be spent and the rich, being the rich, will not want to part with it therefore only home made, possibly quite sinkable arks would be built. Animals will have to be taken in 2 by 2, and the extra weight will invariably result in the loss of many of those arks.
Generally speaking, therefore, the disaster will be of such a magnitude that it could well mean the end of the human race as we know it. Plus long before the first Ark set sail, Blizzard's servers would be under a number of km of water and offline, so no one would actually be playing, all the forum 'Blues' and the 'devs' would be out of jobs. (Plus Arks don't come with an internet).

However, even Arks that made it would not be safe since when it was accidentally discovered that Sylvanas is actually the glue that holds the very multiverse together. It was instantly realized that if Sylvanas were to go, everything that is, was, or ever could have been will quite possibly go belly up. Space, time, everything, will fade away and cease to exist. As can be realized, that would actually be quite ...... 'bad'.

Therefore, imo, Blizzard are very acutely aware what they can, and cannot do, with Sylvanas' life.

Long Live The Queen.
Recently, an archery club opened where I work, and naturally, as a Sylvanas fan, I thought I'd have a go.

Twelve arrows later from a distance of 12m and I'd not even hit the target area once so I don't think she's gonna call me up as a Dark Ranger anytime soon, sniff.

How about you, have you ever tried out a WoW weapon type irl and what was the result.
Possible sold account moral dilemma” wysłany:
A number of years ago I made an in-game friend who I did quite a bit of stuff with. In early WoD they stopped playing.

After that the account never even logged into bnet until around 9 months ago. Which it did for just a few mins. Didn't log into any games, just logged bnet.

On Friday evening, it suddenly logged again. Just for a few mins. Then on Saturday evening, it suddenly logged into WoW with a 110 mage on a different server to the one the friend played on, which was also weird since the friend only played a healer.

All my messages were ignored and after a few mins, the account logged off.

Everything considered I'm pretty sure that it's no longer my old bnet friend who now 'owns' the account. And therein lies the moral dilemma, should I alert Blizzard to this, or should I just look the other way and pretend that whatever happened between my one time bnet friend and someone else is none of my business, delete the 'friend' and move on ?
Is the command of English of many posters so low, that they only know offensive words or phrases that are against the forum tos ?

More and more in threads I see (and report btw) posters who simply cannot, or refuse to, post or reply to others in a 'decent' manner. Out come the masked swear words, some not even masked, 18+ (at least on a forum) phrases etc etc.

On a forum with a game that is (primarily) aimed towards a, shall we say, younger than adult audience, surely we should have the option in the forum 'report' function, to select, 'offensive language'. Such reports could be internally flagged as priority and dealt with as soon as possible.

Irrespective of other issues that are reported, I think it would at the very least help to keep the official forums 'clean' and a therefore pleasanter experience for all.
After I made the 1000 th post in the sticked 'friends' thread it came up with the message that posts can no longer be made due to reaching a new limit.

Can a 'blue' therefore kindly extend the limit again please so that people can continue to post in the thread and make friends to play with.

Thankyou.
Can you remember your 1st realm ?” wysłany:
Can you remember the 1st realm you made a char on ? do you still have that toon and is it on the same realm ?

I made my 1st char on Anachronos, because I liked the fact that it ended in Chronos, which is time-related.

I still have the toon too, it's this one but I moved her around a few times and changed faction as well.
At the start of the recent xmas event I had around 850k, opened all my savage gifts on the last day and got 4 mounts which I then sold for over 500k, taking me over the 1 million gold barrier for the very first time.

http://i63.tinypic.com/6sxv6e.jpg (could say that 'Sylvanas is a rich *****')
(A big thank-you to Predita - Defias Brotherhood for skin assistance)

Have YOU ever been a millionaire in WoW and what did you do with your accumulated wealth ?

Me, I'm now gonna bank 1m so that I'm always a millionaire.
What would you do on your final day ?” wysłany:
If you knew that WoW was ending the next day, what would you do on your final day ?

I'd get one last flag cap in Twin Peaks and Warsong Gulch (and video them both) then park all my chars next to Sylv (including my Alliance rogue) (this one being the last to park ofc) and then just log out.
On how many chars are you doing HH ?” wysłany:
I'm trying on 6 lv 100+ chars.

How many are you trying on ?

(No luck yet thouh, just a couple of pets)
What last made you happy, in-game?” wysłany:
It started in WoD, +speed was introduced on pieces of gear.

Got lucky, and by the time WoD ended I was only missing 4 items for a full set.

In Legion, unlucky, loads of (as can be expected) duplicates.

Friday, +speed helm finally dropped. Made of cloth tho, but still, wearable.

Today, Sephuz dropped, meaning, I now have a completely full set of +speed on every piece of gear for a basic out of stealth movement speed of 171%

Still nowhere near my basic WoD speed of 245%, but nevertheless, couldn't be happier as a full speed set was a nice goal to aim for and eventually achieve.

What last made YOU feel really happy in-game ?
How loyal are you to your 1st char ?” wysłany:
How loyal are you to your 1st char ?

This is the very 1st char I ever created. It's also the only char I've played with. Never felt the inclination to main anything else, even just for a change.
Stuck with her through thick and thin and she's the only char I'll do content with no matter how long WoW's around.

How about you ?
What is the best/most satisfying thing you've EVER bought in WoW ?

I collect transmogs, and by that I mean EVERY piece of armour and equipable weapon available for a horde rogue. Yes, an Alliance rogue has to collect some items that are different and vice versa.

Blackrock Depths, a not often run dungeon mainly due to its size and being a vanilla dungeon, contains an almost impossible leather drop, Mar Alom's Grip, a unique piece of hand armour.
A 1 in 10000 chance from a Molten War Golem and a chance so incredibly low from a Fireguard Destroyer or Doomforge Dragoon that the % isn't even recorded.

Wowhead has only ever recorded 29 of them dropping and the item is so rare that it is hardly ever listed on the entire EU auction house database.

Amazingly, just picked one up for a measly 63k. I would have paid in excess of 250k for it due to its incredible scarcity. So on a satisfaction level at purchasing such a scarce item and moving closer to my overall goal, it's the best thing I've ever bought from the AH.

How about you, what's the best/most satisfying thing you've ever bought?
Gold respec cost is gone” wysłany:
http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/412119-i-paid-for-dual-spec-let-me-keep-it/

Dev "Watcher"

We've definitely heard much feedback to this effect, and this is something we'd been discussing quite a bit internally as well over the past couple of weeks. In an upcoming build (hopefully the next one; if not, then the one after), the respec cost is gone, and players can freely switch between all specializations with the normal restrictions of cast-time, needing to be out of combat, and so forth.

Ultimately, the intent behind the respec cost (which isn't really a new concept, dating back to 2004 class trainers) was to help reinforce a bit of spec identity through declaring a "primary" spec to which you could always return for free, and to serve as a mild gold sink. But in practice, changing specialization is a pretty significant transformation in terms of action bars, optimal gear in some cases, artifacts, and so forth, and already not something that people were taking lightly. I suspect the cost will not be missed.

An area that has appeared to need a bit more friction, however, is actually talent changes. Especially with no reagent cost at all now, it can be all too easy to activate AoE talents before larger packs of enemies in a dungeon, and then switch back to single-target talents before a lieutenant or a boss. Or someone might switch to a passive movement-speed talent when traversing an area, and then back to something functional before entering combat. At that point, we're often hardly talking about a meaningful choice at all, but rather a nuisance of extra button-presses or UI navigation before you can use your desired talents.

And so, alongside removing the respec cost, that same upcoming build will also restrict the ability to change talents when away from a safe area (defined as an area that provides the Rested state). We currently plan to give Scribes a recipe to craft a consumable Tome that can be dropped in order to allow all nearby players to retalent freely for a time - particularly useful for group play.
So, done 3 dungeons now, and every time when i enter a dungeon i lose all the poisons on my weapons, and every time i exit i lose them all as well.

So, do other classes lose self buffs upon entering and exiting or is this just some kind of a rogue bug that needs a fix?
The Ghosts of WoW” wysłany:
Part way through reading this thread

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/16069777729

when I got to the part about "never log in again", a thought suddenly appeared in my mind, I know, I've had many, and shared many here on the forum, but feel like sharing this one as it seems really good (imo anyway).

High level characters, Blizzard knows who they are, and on what realms they reside.

What I propose, is that, high level characters, who, for whatever reason, have not logged in for a long period of time, that they sometimes (even if only fleetingly) appear in the game world at night on their last server, that they become 'The Ghosts of WoW'.

Somehow, all the things that they have accomplished, all the things that gave their owner (and others) pleasure, would, in a way, still kind of live on. Maybe even let them appear in a small dedicated zone. 'The Zone of Rest/Contemplation' or w/e.

Dunno if it's technically possible, but I can't see any reason why not.

Anyway, have a good weekend all.

L S Windrunner
The end” wysłany:
Due to ongoing health issues, I will, for the forseeable future, no longer be able to play this great game, or post on or read the forums. Even if my health returns and I eventually start to play again, I won't post any more, I'll just play, (it's one or the other, and naturally, playing, would win), so it's time to say goodbye to you all.

I hope in my (probably) hundreds of threads I've entertained you, given you something to smile about, think about, or put fingers to keys and write about. I've sure had fun here.

I've also met some wonderful people here too, especially through the "friends" thread, and indeed, without their (your) participation and support I would have never been able to make the "Fates of Azeroth" movie.

Blues: Thanks for the numerous times you posted in my threads. Moderation is a hard and probably thankless job, but you do a good job anyway.

Greens:
Johni: "The green voice of reason", never afraid to still speak your mind with your often thoughtful and insightful posts.
Shammoz: Always fun to read, and pretty cute for a Draenei. Take care of your pet.

Posters/Friends
Neandy (Frostmane): You helped me more than anyone else for that movie, always talkative and fun as well as courteous, and one of the very few people I ever met in WoW who gave me something just out of kindness. The note you sent with that pet will always remain in pride of place in my bank.

Twijfelkont (Khadgar): Always one to say hi and ask how I am when I logged, also one of the very few people who gave something out of kindness and the note you sent with your pet will always remain next to Neandy's.

Ternezia : You always said hi and n/n, such small courtesies go a hell of a log way. Also talked the correct amount, understanding that friends don't need distracting too much.

Maruben (Defias Brotherhood): My Val'kyrrian Queen, one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met.

Other friends: Too numerous to mention individually, but your support will always be remembered and hopefully one day I can come back to WoW.

Other posters: Your posts, thoughts and ideas made me smile too.

And finally: What would this game be without you ? For all WoW's great features (and there are many, with no doubt more to come), for all it's content and achievements to be done, your story, Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, is the thing that made me passionate the most about WoW. Maybe one day, the writers will redeem you and actually give you your life back too, but anyway, it's in a way fitting that my final word on the forums where I steadfastedly defended and supported you, wrote about you and made a movie about you, will be your name.

VICTORY FOR SYLVANAS
"Connected realms" problem” wysłany:
So, last night I organised a 10 man HC pug with some bnet friends. Only having 6 in group I decided to ask in Org.
Got a /w from a player who's realm has been connected to mine (Scarshield Legion).

To my astonishment I was then unable to manually add him, Bedezee, to friend's list, as it said "player not found".
It would seem that when attempting to add other players via their character name alone, that it STILL only works for characters on the same initial realm as yourself.

To encourage gameplay and teaming up, surely this should be addressed as a matter of urgency ?
