A Community Manager, like Nakatoir, Takralus and Vaneras, who you might have seen on these forums.

Is Wryxian not with us anymore?!

He is.

The Escapist did an interview with Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street about patch 4.3 and such. Quite an interesting read and worth checking out:

I think it would be cool if Druids could somehow unlock different visual effects that complimented their shapeshifting forms, for example through having "good enough gear".

I think there's merit to the idea of having gear somehow show on Druid forums. But as Takralus kinda says, it's probably just wishfull thinking for now.

That's why I'd suggest visual effects instead. They wouldn't change the way your forms looked, they would just add something to them. So it wouldn't deliver on the point of making gear visible, but it would help make a well-geared Druid feel a bit more special than a level 30 Druid in terms of looks.

Imagine if you could unlock permanent effects for your Druid forms similar to this: Mylune's Call & Path of Cenarius.

That should not be difficult to add to Druids. I mean, there's already a ton of those effects in the game. There's everything from the Onslaught Raven Bishops in Icecrown who have small shadow ravens flying above their heads, to the weather effects of Goblin Weather Machine - Prototype 01-B and light beams that follow you, and stars that cascade down around you, and so on. And they don't mess with the looks of the Druid forms themselves. They're just visual buffs that are permanent, basically.

Edit: Spelling.

Blizz wants to make it even easier for me to do this?

You're not able to do that entirely because of your gear though (though PvE tanking stats and Resilience larely accomplishes the same). It has more to do with class design. And that will hopefully be looked into a bit for Mists of Pandaria as well. At least I think that making more class abilities into spec abilities is a smart move by Blizzard in that regard, on top of making certain existing class abilities into talent choices (like Death Knights' Bone Shield, Death Pact, Vampiric Blood, etc.).

And if you're going to do this, then why not just scrap Justice/Honour and have a single currency you obtain from either PvP or PvE, that you can use to buy either PvP or PvE gear?

That's a good idea in my opinion. I've suggested it a few times as well. It could be done in regards to Conquest and Valor points as well.
Right now there isn't that big a seperation between the points anyway, since you can trade Justice for Honor points and vice versa. And you can trade Valor for Conquest. So by all intents and purposes it would be simpler to just have one kind of easy-to-obtain points, and one kind of hard-to-obtain points, instead of seperate points for PvE and PvP.
Battlegrounds, lot of them.
Get Conquest points on my alts so I can get the BoE Valor items for my Priest.
Dragon Soul raiding.
And I will probably make another futile attempt at getting the Sea Pony pet before the Darkmoon Faire ends.
And I'm itching to make a Draenei Paladin alt, because of the cool transmogrification hooks. But will see about that :P
As has been mentioned, definitly a chinese dragon inspired flying mount. There's already one that's a companion pet, so the idea shouldn't be too far-fetched :P

I also want a Qilin inspired ground mount. There are many ways it could look (being the mythical creature it is), but I'd like one that had a nightsaber/talbuk-like body, jade colored, and covered in a white misty aura. That's how I'd imagine a WoW Qilin anyway :P

Then as far as profession-specific mounts goes, I would love if Inscription could get a flying mount inspired by one of Leonardo Da Vinci's ideas. A wooden frame with "parchment" covering it. Something like this: http://www.learning-to-fly.com/images/Da-Vinci-Airplane.jpg

And then I still want a Gnome-engineered hover board in best Back to the Future style:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkyLnWm1iCs
NB: It shouldn't work across water.

I also want more phoenixes. In chinese mythology the phoenix is pretty darn special. And WoW already has two phoenixes. There has to be a lore-hook there. I mean, the Phoenixes in WoW have to come from somewhere. I'd love if there was an area in Pandaria where the Phoenixes originate from - with some new looking ones of course (like if one represents fire, and one represents shadow, there could be one for water (blue), nature (green), etc.).

I am also a fan of the cloud-mount, but that might be too awesome in comparion to everything else. I mean, what can compete with flying on a cloud?!
