The API returns a thumbnail of "gurubashi/80/99047760-avatar.jpg". The valid image is at http://us.battle.net/static-render/us/aegwynn/80/99047760-avatar.jpg
I am on Gurubashi, so I am not sure why the image renders are using Aegwynn in the URL. This isn't an isolated case, have seen many broken images.

Some guilds have inactive characters on their rosters that link to the roster page on the web page for them and have no realm in the data provided by the API.

To hold you over until a better solution appears, I went ahead and dumped db.mmo-champion.com into a json file. It has almost all of the fields that the offical API provides. I went ahead and just put one item on a line since people were already having trouble with the AH data dump size. If you are using PHP you would want to just read it line by line.
If anyone would like some additional data that is easy for me to add I could go ahead and make a second dump with extra fields. The same goes for any other static data that isn't currently provided. http://static.urbad.net/i/news/2011/aug/itemdata.zip |

Field is pvp. It contains rated BG and arena data, but doesn't include the names of people on arena teams. Is there any chance that the other team member's names will be added to the data?

(Also amusing, you can use more requests from your 3,000 a day per IP limit after you use up your API key requests) |
