I was thinking about what different abilities and spells would be called in swedish (I'm a swede!), and began to laugh. 'Kraftord: Sköld' would be 'Power Word: Shield'. Just sounds funny and not especially powerful.
So, what would abilities and spells be named in your language and would you want it? I wouldn't want swedish servers... I would laugh all the time. :)
Some examples in swedish:
Blodtörst - Bloodlust
Förinta - Obliterate
Sved(a) or Bränn - Scorch
Pestslag - Plague Strike
Tjutande Vindstöt - Howling Blast
:'D
Much the same in Norwegian. ;) Warrior - Kriger Hunter - Jeger Priest - Prest Druid - Druide Shaman - Sjaman Rogue - Skurk Death Knight - Dødsrytter or Dødsridder Paladin - Paladin Mage - Magiker Warlock - Trollmann (male) / Trollkvinne (female) (or Trollkar / Trollkjerring) Reminds me of when we tried finding Norwegian names for all the specialist wizards in AD&D 2nd Ed. :p |

Indeed. Both Thundgot and I are from the "cold north" ;p Though him probably more cold and more north than me! |

Hmm, what about "Barnas Uke"? Afaik that term is used quite a bit in Norway :) |
