Is anyone completely underwhelmed by the community API so far?
6 months of trashed old armory/no-XML new armory forcing us to sc@!%! HTML if we want anything useful. Even then I ended up giving up on anything auction house related because the HTML is just so poorly structured and the login/cookie authentication methods are so haphazard.
When I saw the new community API I was excited until I saw it only had realm status. How much longer exactly are we going to be waiting for us smaller guys to be able to do more useful things without having to spend hours hacking sc@!%!rs?
Your disapproval has been noted. |

Every so often we get feedback that is along these lines and there isn't much that we can say to help. At the end of the day, the Web and Mobile team has a lot of responsibility and is simply doesn't have enough time to push some of the cooler features out quickly enough. We try. We really do. |

*Shakes Magic Eight Ball* Unlikely. Like I've said before, we'll provide more information when we feel comfortable with doing so. |

Whilst I appreciate your frustration at the time this is taking to release this, we want to keep the tone of this forum positive and constructive.
Needless to say, we are working actively on this project, but as Straton notes above, there are numerous other factors and business needs that change timelines on projects all the time. We'll release more information as soon as we have the initial designs locked down, as we want to be able to take feedback and tune the APIs to best suit the needs of you, the Community.
