Is it bugged? I tried buying a gift version of wow to my girlfriend but i click "Pay now" and it just keeps loading..it's been loading for 5 mins now?

This could be a couple things, Sosen.

First, I'd recommend visiting your Billing Profile and perhaps pruning a bit. The card you currently have marked as primary expired in 2010.

Next, the new store apparently isn't playing nicely with some browsers. I'd first try clearing your cookies and cache - and perhaps trying a different browser. So far, IE and Safari seem to be having the fewest issues with this. Some have even reported good results by using the browser on their cell phone.

I would fix up your Billing Profile, first, however.

It says Approximately 7 days. If you're saying that he did it 7 days ago but later in the day that's still approximately 7 days. That's what i'm saying that there (hopefully) would be less of these threads if it was clear that it will take at least exactly 7 days from the minute or hour that they apply time for it to be rewarded. Clearly the expectation is now that if I apply time on the 13th I get my reward on the 20th regardless of the time of day.

EVERYTHING that relies on a timer here is to the minute, Daslow, that is nothing new or different.

i did raf a week ago and still no mount.i have been told i had to wait a week after doing it before i could choose a reward.so i did that.today it has been a week and still nothing.anyone know anything i can do to try get it?

This should come through later today. The qualifying payments were applied late on 11/13 - but this still hasn't reached a full 7 days.

Also, if you are logged in when this does qualify to claim, a full relog may be necessary for the claim button to show.

The system is pretty straight forward.

Your referred friend upgrades to a full account, with the first paid month you get a month of gametime.

At the second paid month you earn the ability to claim one of the eight new pets/mounts.

Note: There is a 7 day delay after a reward is qualified now, but otherwise that system is pretty much the same.

Also, even if your friend recently established an account (very recently, within a month), you can now RAF them.

My recommendation is use AFK, it's simple, right-click report.

Will they get booted from THAT BG, maybe, maybe not - but those reports stick and carry over.

Before long, they'll be unable to play for at least awhile - and if they don't learn from the warnings, permanently.

That's totally different from our other methods on a wider scale, it can ultimately be faster.

He's playing Russian Roulette with his account if he doesn't take those warnings to heart.

We see posts here everyday from players that didn't think the rules applied to them.

We do our best to educate players, but if education doesn't work and the ban hammer falls, there really isn't much in the way redeeming yourself at that point.

We do not allow the 'calling out' of other players on our forums, for any reason.

You could have spent the time reporting these with the existing tools, yet I see you typing and documenting this, nothing at all to reporting them.

Do we have other means of catching this, yes - but those means take time.

Will a report immediately get rid of an offender, not necessarily from that match, but it is VERY helpful.

You may wish to review our forum code of conduct which is posted at the top of every forum. While I can understand your frustration, that doesn't mean posts which violate that code of conduct are going to be allowed to stand.

Those names are a violation of the TOS AND the naming rules of RP servers. They should not require several reports. It's against the rules. Why do the GM"s need a majority vote in order to do their job?

Yes they are, and for a report to be generated, enough of your fellow players need to report the name so it comes to our attention.

It usually does take more than one name report, if a name is egregious enough, that usually doesn't take long.

RP names are a judgement call. That's the thing with RP, no one, NO ONE, can put a definitive definition on it. Some players RP 'lite', others are totally hardcore. Whose rules would you have us follow?

We've guidelines that are applied against reports. Those try to take a reasonable middle of the road stance on such things - and people are often forced to name change on those sorts of realms when in flagrant violation.

For what it's worth, I got my RP education a couple decades ago, in another game. The single rule we could not violate as a volunteer was 'breaking character', ever. It's quite eye-opening when you have that requirement, just how to deal with others. They cannot break your immersion if you take the world as it is presented to you and work them into YOUR fiction. In many cases, that was pondering which village was missing their idiot. :P

Perhaps you're just overthinking the whole thing. Trade chat scrolls enough for me to keep up when I'm sitting there in between queues. Pay 2 guys for 8 hours at a time (ON JUST THE RP SERVERS) to just sit there and read trade, with a 1 click button to mark for renaming ... how hard is that? That'd probably be one of the easiest jobs you'd ever have.

And you've essentially just described what every player can do - on their own, so that a Game Masters time can be spent actually looking into offenses.

We are never going to have the manpower to do what you are asking, Mungrim. You do realize how many realms there are - two factions, multiple areas, right?

We've always preferred to educate players, when that doesn't work, the penalties do progress - until they eventually lose access to their account on a permanent basis. As to a penalty having no consequences when it's applied, it may be when they are offline - it can also happen when they are in the middle of a raid. Penalties get applied when the offense is reviewed.

That would be covered under our article on the Penalty Volcano.

Just to be clear, we have NEVER just sat in-game and monitored chat channels, ever.

There have been brief periods of time when certain hot-spots may have had that happen, but it's not 'normal', nor is it on-going.

That's what our reporting system is for. If you see a violation, feel free to report and it will be reviewed.
