You would provide the players character name & realm, the time frame this took place, and a description of what is happening. As much information you can provide is key.

Before this thread gets too out of hand since it originally stemmed in the General Forum, I thought I would step in.

It is sometimes possible, Destaice, but not always due to address verification issues.

You will want to make sure there is enough funds on the card to cover any taxes and the verification ping, which is typically $1.00. Also, be sure to register the card before using it online. There will typically be instructions included with the card on what to do in order to use the card when making online purchases.

What does become locked after the trial expires, Keyice, are any Goblins or Worgens you create. Once you officially upgrade to the full version they will become unlocked again. :)

This may indicate an issue with the payment being used, Ipewpew.

In order to free up the characteryou will need to cancel the Race Change.

Cancelling a Pending Character Service

• Log into Battle.net Account Management and select the World of Warcraft account you wish to manage.

• Scroll to the bottom where you see the listing of all the Character Services.

• Click on Race Change

• Click on the History/Status box.

• Locate the pending transaction and click the "cancel" link.

Once the Race Change has been cancelled you will want to ensure that the card you were using had enough funds on it, the information was accurate, and that you set up a Billing Profile with this card. If you do not know how to set up a Billing Profile, the instructions can be found here:

As others have mentioned, Jmbomb, you will need to upgrade your account to Cataclysm before being able to fly in the old world zones.

Before you are able to upgrade to Cataclysm you must upgrade to Wrath of the Lich King. I show you are are currently playing the Lich King trial, which will expire in 10 days. When the trial expires all Wrath of the Lich King content becomes locked, such as Northrend and Death Knights. More information can be found here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/25644

I know it has been a couple of hours since you commented, Arahkar, but has your friend recovered access to the Battle.net account yet?

To be on the safe side he may wish to scan his computer looking for any malicious software. He should also consider updating the email address on the Battle.net account to something completely new, which may alleviate phishing emails.

Would you be able to provide me the character name and realm of your friend's character, Arahkar? After I am able to review the account I can advise you how your friend should proceed from here.

Your question is not extremely weird, nor is it dumb, Lemarcus. But to answer your question, no, our Game Masters do not de-level a character for reasons like this.

Say you were 74 before then and BOOM! You are 74 now... though it will take them like 3 days to give your gear back.

I would highly advise against what Myrddran stated here. These are things we are able to verify. And while you may be able to get your items back, you will still remain at level 75. To add, defrauding a Game Master does violate the Game Master Interaction Policy:

OP -- To answer your question, you do not need to purchase the game again. You can simply download the full game client through Account Management here: https://us.battle.net/account/management/download/

If you have the ability to do so, you can copy the files from one system to the new one, which will save quite a bit of time.
