I am making this thread in the hopes that Blizzard will hopefully read some of my opinions and suggestions about the issues that this game currently faces. Having played this game for 6 years and seeing the many ups and downs and highs and lows and ins and outs, it seems that the game has reached a worrisome level that is making it hard for many long time players to consider if retaining their subscriptions is still worth it. I know that personally, I’ve thought about quitting a few times during this particular expansion, but I still find ways to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, the state of the game has been decrepitating steadily over the course of this expansion, as indicated by the constant loss of subscriptions and well-known, world class guilds. While focusing on the average player may be the wisest choice for revenue production, it is actually having many negative repercussions. If some specific fixes/changes are not introduced into the game in the next expansion, then I fear that WoW may face an unprecedented loss of longtime subscribers. What comes after that is the same bag of feelings that we are currently experiencing in this expansion: frustration and disappointment. I can only hope and pray that MoP will not be a repeat of Cataclysm.
In this thread, I will present the issues that I believe are important and I will propose some fixes that I believe would be for the better of the game and community that it centers around. Please realize that these are all my personal opinions and I’m only speaking from my experiences and in no way am I trying to speak for anybody else. I know that some of my recommendations may be extreme and counterproductive to what Blizzard is trying to do with WoW, but I’m merely trying to foster some attention to what is wrong with the game that millions of people have dedicated so much time and passion towards. Thanks for reading this and please don’t ruin it with trolling. :)
