So here's a little backstory:
Member ninjas almost all items of value (flasks, maelstroms, herbs, gems) from our guild bank. Leaves, removes all of us from realids and then leaves the guild. Here's our official response:

I understand the difficult situation that your guild has found itself in but am sorry to have to tell you that in this case the previous information that you were given by our Game Master team was correct.
The reason that we will not assist in this case is because items in a guild bank are shared by all members of a guild, and all members have a right to take items as permitted by the guild leader. I know that the items which were taken from your bank were very valuable, but we do not consider the number removed to be unreasonable given the player's time spent with the guild before leaving.
While I understand that you may disagree with this decision, ultimately it is the responsibility of the guild leader to restrict access to the bank if he or she feels it necessary to do so. Without this restriction in place we cannot police how members choose to add or remove items from a guild bank or take sides in a disagreement such as this.
Once again let me say that I am very sorry to give you this news but hope that it has helped you to understand why we cannot act in the manner that you requested.

2. Stay afk in the guild for a few months
3. Ninja the bank.
4. Profit.
