Seriously Blizzard!?!?!

I know you'll just delete this post as part of you draconian march to quell the voices of those who pay your monthly subscription fee to play your game.

But, I still have the right to say my peace and to post what I and I'm sure hundreds, if not thousands of other players feel is an outrage.

WE pay a monthly subscription to play WOW, we don't pay to sit around and do nothing while the realms are shut down or restarted multiple times in the same week!

I understand that you might have problems to sort out, but you punish us by shutting down the servers for hours on end in order to resolve your problems. Why are these issues not taken care of during the overnight hours when there are very few of us online and not during the day when there is a much broader base of players who have to be inconvenienced by your lack of regard for our playing time.

In essence Blizzard is short changing the players it relies on for it's very existence! You are stealing our money and then not giving us the time we paid for, all on the premise that you have to resolve "technical issues". So in the end, it seems that the players are the ones who are being punished for your technical departments inability to provide us with a working product. I can't help but think that this is a classic example of the old "Bait and Switch". You bait us with a tremendous game and tell us that we have to pay a monthly premium in order to play for the month, but when we do pay said monthly premium...we get less than the expected month of playtime due to these "technical issues" that will have the realms down for hours at a time.

The issue of the occasional "technical issue" is forgivable, but when the company that is more than willing to take our money in order to play this game embarks on a Draconian campaign to silence the voices of those whose very existence it depends on, then that is where we have to draw the line. YOU Blizzard should go out of your way to welcome the input and hear the voices of those who you serve. You should answer our questions, provide us with updates, make an effort to be a more proactive company toward the customers whose money you so desperately depend upon! Yet, I know that you will instead will choose to quietly delete this thread and once again silence the voices of those whose monthly subscription you need in order to stay in business. I hope one day you will open your eyes and your ears to the voices of the players and their complaints/rants/suggestions, lest Blizzard and World of Warcraft become just another company/MMO that has faded into oblivion, another technological bookend whose mistakes sealed it's fate and caused it to go the way of many others who have faded into black.

Let us hope that you, Blizzard will make that realization before it is too late and those players you say are so valuable finally realize your folly and decide to elsewhere.

The ball is in your court Blizzard...
