The following hotfixes have been applied to beta, and will be added to the live game later this week. We continue to work on other adjustments, such as the damage and healing output of other specs including Discipline, Retribution, and Balance. Those changes are going to take a little longer than the following hotfixes, but we wanted to get these in your hands for testing while playing on beta.
We appreciate all the feedback that has been generated from testing out the combination of Azerite Traits, Talents, Enchants, and Gearing options found on Gladiator's Sanctum. In these hotfixes, we've targeted specs that are currently over-performing in certain PvP situations. Instead of reducing the overall damage that specializations such as Assassination Rogues and Marksmanship Hunters deal in PvP, we've chosen to reduce some of the talents and abilities that can contribute to high damage burst windows. Changes to specializations in Battle for Azeroth have increased the power of specific PvP Talents. Restoration Druids in particular gained a large increase to Lifebloom in Battle for Azeroth, so we have in turn reduced the overall power of Focused Growth. Racial Abilities

All of them! Since our esports scene has a consistent pool of players year over year, I'm a big fan of all of the history and story lines! Mes and Trill were both very impressive last year, so having those two team up with someone who has so much history (and getting so close to winning!) is exciting. EU teams splitting up and forming new super-teams from prior Blizzcon champions is also very interesting. However, the last NA qualifier really converted me into a Sneakier Snakes fan. They had ONE shot to make it to this tournament, and they did it under immense pressure. |

Super Frogs looking good so far in this match! |
As mentioned earlier in the thread, the amount of Honor required to level from Honor level 1-50 during Prestige 0 was cut in half in 7.2. Previous to 7.2, the amount of Honor required to level through Honor levels 1-10 was a very small number, so that characters would earn at least 1 Honor Talent in each tier very quickly.
Now that you no longer lose access to Honor Talents when you Prestige, the amount of Honor required for each level AFTER reaching Prestige 1 has been smoothed out. The total amount of Honor required for each Prestige level after Prestige 0 has been slightly reduced, not increased. We also added the Enlistment Bonus in 7.2, which grants 50% additional Honor to the faction that needs more players in queue for battlegrounds. This is also granted to players who take advantage of our mercenary system and queue as the faction that needs more players. As a reminder, the battleground recruiters that enable mercenary mode are located in the Dalaran Sewers, at The Underbelly Descent. |
Titles require 50 games won on your new faction.
