Alt catch up is too slow

So today I got very lucky and got my second legendary on this toon. But having only /played him 3,5 days, I still have to wait around a month before I unlock the usage of a second legendary. Which imo is a little bit crazy and it also feels weird. I know I have been ultra lucky and my main which has almost 3 times this toon /played still doesn't have one.

Also the artifact catch up is way too slow. I think I've leveled my artifact knowledge for 10 days maybe 2 weeks and I'm only at 200%, my main has 2800%. Waiting days for minor artifact knowledge upgrades is really not fun.

I've always liked playing different classes and specs. And before legion it was just about getting your gear and professions up to speed, something you could work on everyday. But with the way artifact knowledge work, I can only significantly progress by waiting. Which I really dislike.

In the upcoming Patch 7.1.5 (currently on the PTR for testing), you will be able to purchase ranks of Artifact Knowledge instantly for Order Resources up until a certain rank, at which point you'll have to continue with researching Artifact Knowledge as normal.

As things currently are, if you're only just starting out at 110 right now, the amount of time needed to research the lower ranks of Artifact Knowledge is already a lot shorter than the 5 days needed to research ranks at the opposite end of the spectrum.
