I have characters on a couple of different RP servers, and by far the most fun I've ever had is with other players who were method acting their race and class. A troll shaman who talked and acted like a real troll shaman at all times. A crazed, happy-go-lucky gnome engineer who worked with me to help me obtain a number of gadgets, and she humorously blew up. Repeatedly. That sort of thing.
