The world’s largest games convention begins this Wednesday, August 13, in Cologne. Be sure to follow all the action on our dedicated gamescom 2014 site, whether or not you’re able to make it to the Koelnmesse in person. If you’re at gamescom, be sure to stop by the biggest Blizzard booth to date in Hall 7.1 (B051) for some unforgettable entertainment and a sneak peek at our newest games. Be among the first to see the incredible cinematic trailer for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor on Thursday, August 14—the first fully public day of the event. The build-up to the big reveal starts at 18:00! If you can’t be there in person, join us on WorldofWarcraft.com from 18:30 CEST for a special live stream event.
Throughout the four public days of gamescom, you can get some hands-on play time with Warlords of Draenor and Heroes of the Storm on PC, Hearthstone on PC and iPad, and Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4. On the Blizzard stage, you’ll be able to see some epic eSports action, hear some music from our games performed by a live orchestra, check out our world-famous costume contest, view live drawing sessions by Blizzard artist Luke Mancini, and much more.
You’ll also have the chance to win some loot in our daily quizzes, WoW Leveling Contest, and WoW Dance Contest—stop by our booth between 9:00 and 13:00 on Sunday to sign up for the dance contest and show us your moves. And don’t forget about our first ever gamescom Shop in Hall 10.1, where you can pick up rare Blizzard souvenirs.
Whether you’re at gamescom or watching from home, be sure to check our dedicated site for hour-long live streams starting at 18:00 CEST on Friday and Saturday, and at 16:00 CEST on Sunday. They’ll bring you highlights from the event, developer interviews, and more.
