So how many chances would someone need to actually get the stupid rocket? Its the only boss drop holiday mount that I'm currently missing but so far, since tuesday, I'm 0/77 attempts and have 8 more to go. I've seen people with similar complaints for the headless horseman and the kodo/ram during drunk fest.

It is intentionally super rare. The more stand-outish (outstanding?) mounts tend to be more difficult to obtain, and both of those variables tend to lead to how coveted any particular mount is. The Big Love Rocket is pretty ... mmmmm, crazy looking, I'll say, but it'd probably be decidedly less rewarding and also probably interrupting to the overall theme of the game if the sky was full of them. Looking crazy.
