Just playing a bit less apart from Guild Raids and dailies when there is new content.
At 310%! Let me share a little sneak peek that @abrosiabi just leaked on his twitter account about the development of WoD to celebrate your 8 years with WoW: “A sleepy Talador”. Work in Progress. I think this looks serene and beautiful at the same time. What do you think? Getting excited about WoD? |

Wow, so many old schoolers!
Anyone has some cool screenshots to share with the rest of us from back in the day? I'm starting to feel nostalgic already! What are those small little things that you always remember when you think about vanilla? For me, other than major raids and events, I remember fondly of some specific farming spots, the Scarlet Crusade casters in that small tower near Hearthglen while trying to get the formula for Crusader, Righteous Orbs, Encrypted Twilight Texts in Silithus, essences of air... Mmmm... how I loved when these dropped ! |

Eheheh, but you also had extra bindings, ct_raid and PallyPower. That's quite something for that time! Indeed, the inner geek in all of us needs to be constantly fed with plenty of data, even if irrelevant for gameplay! <3 You did well. One should always take the throne after finishing a full BRD run, it's tradition. I loved the fact that BRD was such a long and somewhat hard instance, having those small and fixed groups of highly skilled friends with whom you would run these type of dungeons daily made me really enjoy the whole social experience that I got from these. It was always a very fun and engaging experience because they were long enough for people to start to interact and have fun with each other, but also because you tended to run the dungeons with the same group of people, you would start to become bolder and more creative in the way that you ran the dungeons, pushing the limits and learning/adapting to your friends' play styles, boosting the group's synergy with slight adaptations and predictions at the individual level. So, sort of like raids have always been but in a more "cozy" environment. Thanks for all the screenshots and the stroll down memory lane everyone! There's so much love for Warcraft going around here that I can almost feel it in the air. |
