We’ve just added a new short story to the Destination Pandaria section of the official World of Warcraft website: Death from Above. The most recent mantid troubles in Pandaria are only the latest iteration of a cycle that predates recorded history. In days long past, the mogu held the Serpent’s Spine against the insectoid invaders, but even their mighty empire learned to fear the mantid and their unknowable elders, the Klaxxi. What held true then still holds true today: when the mantid swarm the Wall, only the strong will return, making the mantid stronger. For this reason, the cycle must continue... no matter the cost.
