Real life issues has caused me to take a major break from this game. I just finished what was interfering with my playing time and now I am trying to come back and I am totally overwhelmed at what to do.
I don't even know where to begin as I feel completely lost. My old guild is gone and I am trying to figure out what to do or what class to play. It is like stumbling onto a Supernatural episode on TV with no idea who anyone is and just feeling like a moron because everyone else seems to know what is going on.
So if anyone can point me to some websites or videos or anything that I can read to catch up I would be very appreciative.

We do have a Catching Up to 5.3 article that may help. It's directed at gearing up fast at level 90 to see all of the end-game content. So it just depends on where your character is at, and what your goals are.
