Can you make a game using the API?

blizz -> wysłany:
I wasn't quite sure where to ask this question, so I figured here is the best place. After looking through the Usage Policy, I didn't see anything that specifically defined that this would not be allowed. Of course, I want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong before I start any work.

I have an idea for a browser-based game that would allow users to play a Risk-like game of territory control and resource management. The API would be used to call character information from the Armory for each player, since character-specific elements like class and professions will have an effect on gameplay.

Assuming the game adheres to all of the other rules stated in the usage policy (i.e. the code calling the API is viewable, the game does not charge fees, etc.) would this be a permissible use of the API?

You are correct, as long as you follow the API policies, this is permissible (and sounds fun!).
