I have a test site working on this url:
http://wafbeta.kimptoc.net/
This server accesses the Blizzard API no problem, as you can see.
However I am trying out another hosting option and their servers seem to be blocked by Blizzard- getting timeouts on API requests:
http://worthy-fog-45.a.pogoapp.com/
Is there a process to try and get it unblocked?

I get emails about this a lot (very often) and so far (since I started at Blizzard) I have not seen one case of the IP being blocked by us. It's usually a case of the ISP blocking or some other network problem.
Definitely try using the normal traceroute and other tools to try and get to the bottom of it. If you really can't find the issue you can email [email protected] and I can ask the network admins if there is an IP block, but most often there isn't. Please include the IP in question when/if you email. |
