Especially the 64-bit version. WoW can now run natively in a 64-bit architecture, this means, if you happen to have a 64-bit operating system, just like Windows7 x64 and a x64 compatible cpu, you should be in for a performance boost over an equivalent x86 (32-bit) system. For the other games that can’t run natively in x64, Windows has an integrated emulator (that goes by the awesome name of WoW64!) that enables most 32-bit applications to run without any problems on the x64 version of the OS.
Yes, your cpu uses a 64-bit instruction set so it should be able to run Windows x64. Just a small detail though, x64 applications tend to use more RAM than their 32-bit counterparts, so if you intend to keep that system, maybe you should consider increasing your RAM to at least 4GB. |

It should, but if you want to make sure that your WoW client is running in 64-bit, you can start the launcher, go to “Options”, “Game Preferences”, and make sure that the “Launch 32-bit client” checkbox is unticked. If you then launch the game, the login screen should display (x64) on the bottom left corner of the screen. |
