Little windows button next to ALT

blizz -> wysłany:
I'm learning to key bind, and so far, it's going 'reasonably' well . . considering I've clicked for 5 years.

anyway, one thing I keep doing at the most inconveniant of times is minimising my game screen and returning to my desktop by hitting the little windows button between ctrl and alt.
Last night I was duelling outside org, intense long battle . . quick need to warstomp hit what I thought was 'ALT + 2' then BOOM

wow was gone and I was staring at my desktop.

How do I stop this happening? it's obviously not a standard keybind but it's a real pain and I need to re assign it else where because im too clumsy to have it next to my modifier key

cheers in advance
blizz -> wysłany:
This key can indeed be quite annoying. I’ve recently got a new laptop and I tend to hit it quite often, I use a lot of Ctrl and Alt for my keybindings and this keyboard layout is very different from the one I was used to, so my muscle memory still needs some time to adapt.

There are other solutions other than physically removing your key, for example, there are tweaks that allow you to remap all your keys (you can turn any key off or attribute another action to it) directly in the windows registry but that will affect every application you use, not just WoW. (if you’re interested, google "keyboard remapping" and use it at your own risk, I wouldn’t recommend it for people who aren’t very comfortable with tweaking windows settings and the registry though).

Why would you even suggest that when Microsoft themselves got a simple tool for it?

Run exe to disable, reboot, done.

Very nice, I didn't know they provided their own official registry tweak.
Guess it does make it feel a bit safer, but it's still messing with the registry, it's always better if you feel comfortable with editing it.

Thanks!
