Just wanted to come on here and say a few thanks to blizzard for mists of pandaria... I think it has been a resounding success and hope that it continues long into the expansion. There have obviously been a few bugs here and there and issues to iron out but nothing game breaking for once!
I was quite skeptical about the new talent system, but I find myself swapping between talents on raid encounter and even glyphs because the decisions are actually meaningful... We have cleared 4/6 so far in normal Mosh and have thoroughly enjoyed the encounters, they are well thought out, fought in nice surroundings and are well balanced for entry level raiding!
The farm is absolutely addictive, I have 4 farm across 4 alts farming my food buffs and it does not at all feel like a grind, I enjoy having the customisability to decide to grow herbs, spirits, mats etc!!!
Battle pets had me so engrossed when I played it that I lost an entire evening! It really brought back that pokemon nostalgia and I suddenly feel a sense of attachment to my companions and have a desire to level more up and get more. I never previously had an interest in collecting them so this has inspired me to take up collecting them.
Challenge modes, are absolutely fantastic, the level of difficulty is just right and would love to see how you can expand on this feature in the future!
Overall 9/10 I really put this opening week on par with what I felt in TBC
We are thrilled that the game appeals to players in so many different ways. I too am quite amped up to try the new challenge modes, in my opinion they should be appealing to those players who loved TBC heroics, we loved those heroics because they were hard, because you had to be great at CC, cleverly improvise when something went wrong, doing LoS pulls, having great coordination between party members, etc. Challenge Modes are exceptionally hard and promote competitiveness because they’re also timed, I just wish I had some more free time so I could be running them already, but I should (hopefully) be able to try them in the next few days. Have a great weekend! |
