I don't know if it was intended or not but i found myself at 86 out of jade forest, 87 after VFW and now im halfway through 89 and im not even done with Towlong Steppes. I completely skipped out on Karandag Wilds, and im pretty sure i will hit 90 without needing to do to much in Dread Wastes.
By no means is this a complaint post about leveling too fast, i mean it really seemed like this expansion had the most solid leveling since Wrath but yeah i didn't really do anything too crazy like spam run dungeons or anything i think i did one dungeon each level maybe two. Would i be missing out on anything critical to raiding if i decide to not go back and do Karandang, and dreaded wastes? Or after receiving flying at 90 would the missed content go in a breeze?
Up to you, but Krasarang has a pretty amazing story-driven conclusion that ties it and VotFW together.
So far I've skipped at least (?) 1-2 optional quest hubs in each zone, and plan to go back once I hit 90 to snag the story and gold. Ooooooor I'll just hit them when I level my next character. I haven't decided yet. In any case it seems to have left me at right about the correct level. It seems (at least personally) if you're doing the normal quests that breadcrumb to each other, you're going to end up at about the right level. If you're really hoovering each zone and hitting the optional exclamation points, you'll end up a bit ahead. I prefer having that option and choice, especially when it comes to alts. Having to hit every quest in every zone just to try to keep up level-wise would wear on me too much. |
