inb4 long post.
As I was going trough Darkshore clearing all the quests for my Loremaster I spotted a druid, like me a worgen a female one however. He was being chased by some bears and he was at low health so I shifted to cat form and helped him and after, I healed him and gave him MotW.
Need some help? I asked jokingly didn't expect him to say much, probably even insult me.
Yes, I need to go darnassus ah and I don't know how.
Surprised by his actual response I mounted up in my vial of the sands and invited him, at 310% I could easily carry him across the fatigue zone dropping him in Rul'theran Village.
Hop on, I'll take you there - I assumed this player was new so I asked him about it
Well I played in 2006 and Saturday
What do you mean?
I started in 2006 but stopped I didn't like this and now with the pandas I decided to try again, what about you?
Well I started in vanilla but I was young so I didn't really understand the game, eventually came back in the lich king.
Out of curiosity I asked ''Why did you quit''
Bad community and even now I was thinking about quitting but I that changed now at least for some people.
By this time I had already taken him to the Auction House and dropped him off I was happy to have changed his mind without even knowing about it. I gave him some gold and flew off
Well hope you like this right now and you came back just in time, cya!
I flew off and this got me thinking how would other players react to this person? What would all of you do? Would you watch him die and /spit and t-bag him? Would you give some friendly advice? Would you go as far as take him there and help him out even more than I did?
I would like to know your opinions on this and what you would have done and before you ask why the paragraph abuse? It's always better than a wall of text.
I really should, but I really hate socialising with people these days. Last guy I helped turned around and stabbed me in the back (figuratively). That has happened to me as well a few times, and it really sucks. But I have luckily had way more positive experiences than negative ones, and quite a few of the people I have helped out in the past have made it to my friends list and I have many times since had great fun teaming up with them doing dungeons and such :-) |
