Dear players,
I hope you could make time to share your opinion on the following situation.
I created a guild and had a great time with the loyal members. We achieved alot and did alot! We reached level 25 and a great status! After 4 great years with the guild, I heared some bad news in real life. The certain person was in another country, being sick. I visited and came back after 2,5 or 3 weeks. My World of Warcraft was expired, so I went to the store. Sadly they didn't had any 60-day cards anymore (yes I don't use creditcard anymore). They expected it to receive it after a week, so I just waited for that. When I finally bought it, I found my guild taken over by someone else. In the month I was offline, Blizzard changed the new policies including the demote of a Guild Master after 1 month. The new Guildmaster was my old Officer. He wouldn't give me the guild back, and he didn't cared about my real life situation. He messed it all up, kicked members, tooked gold out of the guildbank and gave the guild a bad name.
Could this just happen? Game Masters say it is an automatic demote-thingy, so they can't change anything. Do you guys think this is fair?
Our policies have been changed to 90 days instead of 30 days of absence (as in, the guild master character needs to login at least once every 90 days).
So depending on when this happened you may want to check it out with our support team by sending a ticket. Here's our current policies on the subject of Guild Dethroning: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/guild-dethrone |
