Supervision of action house

blizz -> wysłany:
I ask blizzard:
can you Supervision on AH.
______________________________________________
blizzard can are you Supervision action house for no more Exaggeration in prices.
i have idea how to do that (no full Supervision):
make on every item in wow can sell on AH,creat item with Average price of all the realms.
BUT the people cant buy this item ( what the GMs put).After you do that, people would have some awareness about the need to pay for a particular item. and no more people will sell in very high prices. BUT every week (when have restrat on raids) blizzard do cheak on The average and fix on every week.
for example
now valor boots cost 11k in my realm
but if The average is 6k (the price blizzard put)
no one people will sell on the AH 11k...

IT IS IDEA FOR SHOW THE AVERAGE.

Sadly Yuvalal, the very nature of an Auction House is that items are sold to the highest bidder, if no one buys it, it is returned unsold. If people on your realm are putting items up at a very high price, then there is less chance someone will buy it, in which case they lose their deposit.

Price fixing the auction house would just make it a shop.

There are addons that will show you how much above or below the average auction price that a particular item is up for though. This is enough to make an informed choice.
blizz -> wysłany:
I think others here have already explained it well enough, but I'll just confirm that we don't want to interfere with prices on the Auction House. Players are free to attempt to sell items at the price they feel it is worth :-)

i didnt want realy full Supervision, i want only Average Weekly... like have in any Surve (average).

But it is an interference with the market.

See, WoW's economic model seems to be following that of Adam Smith: The Invisible Hand. According to Smith, an economy would work best if there was completely no interference by the government, because in times of adversity, the market would restore itself.

That's basically what WoW is going for as well ^^

Although it could also be that they thought a lot simpler, I guess it is a decent reason to not-interfere with the market prices. It's not like AH prices can drop so badly that we end up in a recession, because it's a fictional economy, so we don't have to fear any kind of recession.

The only thing which will happen is prices dropping and going up again, but that's how it works and how it should work. A lot of players even earn their money like that.

Therefore, it's quite important that they don't start using maximum or minimum prices. It makes the AH a lot more interesting as well.
