BlizzCon 2011 promises enough action to satisfy the most ravenous eSports fan. This year we're hosting the Blizzard StarCraft II and World of Warcraft Global Invitational Tournaments, and the GSL Finals will take place live on the StarCraft II tournament stage. Skilled World of Warcraft and StarCraft II players from around the world competed in the 2011 Regional Battle.net Invitationals to earn their places in the BlizzCon 2011 Global Invitational tournament. Top players from each region will now go head to head, live on stage during BlizzCon, where you can watch the most exciting battles as they happen. Don't forget to download the BlizzCon 2001 Guide to your mobile device to help you find your way around the convention.
StarCraft II Global Invitational Tournament Schedule - Day 1 StarCraft II matches will be shoutcasted by Nick "Tasteless" Plott, Daniel "Artosis" Stemkoski, JP McDaniel, and Sean "[Day9]" Plott. Find them in Hall C at the StarCraft II Tournament Stage.
World of Warcraft Global Invitational Tournament Schedule - Day 1 Luke Bodenheimer, Jared Coulston, and Salome "Soe" Gschwir will be shoutcasting the World of Warcraft Arena battles in Hall B at the World of Warcraft Tournament Stage.
GSL Finals We have the honor of hosting the GSL Grand Finals, for the first time ever outside of Korea, in the Anaheim Convention Center at BlizzCon 2011. That derring-duo of shoutcasting, Nick "Tasteless" Plott and Daniel "Artosis" Stemkoski will be covering the conflict, as IMMvp and SlayerS_MMA go head-to-head to decide who will emerge from the battle to claim the GSL October championship. It will all be happening in Hall C on the StarCraft II Tournament Stage.
Since the tournament includes many games, some of the matches were played offstage -- but you can find an up-to-date bracket of all the BlizzCon 2010 Invitational Tournament games on the BlizzCon 2011 Tournament page. That page will soon be updated with StarCraft II replays and World of Warcraft videos. |
