Quest text and prerequisites?

Now that players' quest data is available from the API I'm experimenting with an app for analyzing a player's completed quests.

What I would like to know is: Will there be a way to obtain the quest text and prerequisites for a given quest?

I'm sure I could sc#@*# this info off Wowhead, though unfortunately much of it is incomplete, and Wowhead would be unhappy with me if I did that anyway.

Alternately, is there a legitimate way to obtain this information from the game client data?
