@ Daxx's Rogue ramp-up response

Thoughts?

You've got a point.

While we're unlikely to eliminate dps ramp up time for rogues altogether, we're sensitive to the fact that rogues require multiple methods to do so, when combo points do a pretty good job of handling that job. We will look at methods of streamlining rogue dps ramp time at some point in the future.

It's been a while, just wondering if this was still gonna happen.

Also, what happened with GC saying they were gonna fix crit? That was like almost a year ago. -_-

It's still something we're looking at, though it's unlikely to happen for 4.3. You'll notice that we posted class feedback threads for each class, and part of the reason is so we can look at further improvements for everyone.

GC personally staked his reputation on making BM hunters viable. His word doesn't mean a damned thing.

ghostcrawler is kinda like the iraqi information minister

lots of talk but little relevant action ;/

I'd say that he works rather hard to share information, and does so in as detailed a way as possible:

In terms of action, there are a lot of improvements we want to make, but there's also an overwhelming amount to get done. Everyone in the audience has their own priorities, but we need to keep a larger picture in mind when we decide which tasks take priority over others.

In the meantime, constantly making a scapegoat out of the one developer whose name is out there, because a change you might personally champion hasn't been implemented yet just isn't productive. It merely seems petulant, and all it accomplishes is diminishing the credibility of your feedback.

No matter how you want to say it, the truth is there seems to be much less balancing and class changes this xpac than ever before.

Part of the reason for that is that class balance was much better right out of the gate than it has been in prior expansions. The class overhauls that occurred prior to Cataclysm are a large part of the reason why.

That's not to say that everything is perfect, or that further improvements shouldn't be made.
