Potential API Data Question

blizz -> wysłany:
Hello,

Have some short questions about API data that you may or may not release:

1. Item Data: It appears that one would have to pull data ItemID by ItemID. For applications requiring a repository of data, this could lead to many requests. Any plan to offer a dump of item data (similar to auction API)? It would make sense given that items tend to not change very much.

2. Achievement/Recipe/Pet/etc Data: Similar to above, will there be similar dumps for these classes of data since they are offered as IDs in the character dump?

3. Wishful thinking here, and same reasoning as above, any chance character lists/dumps would be available? (even simple stuff like achievement/progression data for folks that want to do leaderboards).

Essentially, I want to work with a lot of data but don't want to go nuts making requests to the server!

Oh and while it looks like a "No" at this point, completed auction data (even static 1 day old data) would be a game-changer if offered.

I really doubt that we'll ever support any sort of dump like this.

This is on our backlog and is something we want to do.

This is very unlikely.

Just isn't possible at this point.
