Ok, it was cute once, six months ago to get "Stood In The Fire"
After however many iterations, however, it's just a stupid useless repair bill for something you can't influence and ten minutes or so where you can't do what you were planning/need to because the (expletive) flames have killed all the (expletive) mobs you need, destroyed all the (expletive) quest objects you need, and the (expletive) quest givers haven't respawned even if you did.
This is a waste of my time playing the game. I severely dislike it, and consider cancelling my account every time it happens. Especially considering all the random CRAP blizzard has been putting out, it becomes a stronger argument every time.
Blizzard also needs to stop this absolute (expletive) BS of randomly harming players for things they can't control. I know life isn't fair. This isn't life. Nor is this caused by other players. It's the company we are paying money to deciding to screw with us for the sport of being a random jackass. I don't do business with such companies in my business. It's a real strong point in favor of not doing further business with Blizzard.
Furthermore, the idea of a game, the entire POINT - the thing that makes it a game and fun and potentially worth paying for - is that that kind of crap is rigged against in the rules of said game. when that changes, it stops being a game. I can get this crap at work and from random twits out in public any time I want it, for free. It sure as hell is not a point in favor of continuing to pay subscription fees.
I'll let Deathwing know that you find being incinerated inconvenient. I have a feeling that he's going to keep laying waste to the countryside in the meantime. That's his thing, you know, and he's very sensitive about his image. |
