Much like Arenas, Rated Battlegrounds pit organized teams of players against each other in a fight for supremacy. As a reward for displaying great skill, teamwork, and coordination, Rated Battleground teams can earn the best PvP rewards that World of Warcraft offers. Since the introduction of Rated Battlegrounds, competitors have been restricted to testing their might against teams from opposite factions -- until now. We’re happy to announce that Rated Battlegrounds now allow for matchups between teams from the same faction, just like Arenas. Not only will a larger team pool aid in matchmaking, but it will also help determine who the best of the best truly are. So stand ready, members of the Horde and Alliance, leave your petty squabbling outside these sacred grounds, and be prepared to face all challengers for glory and honor! |
