The old armory used XML files that I could import into my guild's website to display my own guild roster and character profiles. While I do think that the new armory layout is a vast improvement, and I look forward to seeing the features that haven't been added in yet... I would still like to provide these features on my guild's website.
Since wowarmory.com now forwards to us.battle.net... Does the new armory still allow for XML access for external sites to parse? If so, has any of the API changed?

Whilst I'm happy you want to implement something new, you may want to seriously consider holding off. The 'legacy' XML feeds will be going away at some point after we release the next phase of the new API, and it will just involve re-coding everything you implement now. Something to consider :) |
