I accidentally allowed my girlfriend to start to play WOW on my account.
Now it seems we are all ways trying to race each other to log on first.
Should I DELETE her toon and never let her play again or be a nice guy and buy another account so we can play together?
XOXOXOXO
While still technically not permitted by our Terms of Use, Arthinas, there is a significant difference between "trying it out" and actively playing on an account that you are not registered to. Simply allowing access to your account puts your account at risk. While we all like to think our friends, siblings, significant others would never negatively impact our accounts we receive petitions every day from players requesting restorations. This is after they got into a fight whomever they allowed access to the account and that person deleted character, destroyed items, sent off gold, etc. . . . While we are will do everything we can to assist with an account compromise (an unauthorized access to the account), account sharing is an entirely different matter and we may be unable to provide the same level of restoration in such cases.
Exactly, the streaming client was introduced to allow people to get into the game quickly so they can try it out. While a person may not have access to all aspects of the game with a trial it should allow them to determine if they want to continue on. Huon, I'd highly recommend using the Recruit a Friend promotion for your girlfriend. Since she'll need to level a character on her own account the triple experience bonus should help with that.
