Stop all time on items in it seeing as noone can be on to look/buy/sell items. I pay a fee to put them in the ah if noone can access them the time should stop.

The duration of maintenance periods, while planned, can fluctuate quite a bit (as we all know). Asking players to add that time it to the duration of active auctions, once maintenance is complete, is awkward and taxing.
I really enjoy playing the market, and one of the keys to my enjoyment is the predictability of when auctions will expire. I find the current state of affairs easier to deal with - I can just ignore maintenance time, rather than having to factor it into my auctions. |
