Q and A Responses

blizz -> wysłany:
Just wondering why questions pertaining to blizzard employee past times were chosen over questions that are actually effecting the quality of game-play many players are experiencing. Such as the barrage of questions asking about elemental and balance druid pvp. Thanks.

Because it was the #1 most voted-for question out of all questions asked in the entire world. Seriously.

So, do we hold these Q&A's and use voting to pick out the most popular questions, or choose randomly to get the answers for questions you want to see addressed. Because I guarantee no matter what questions we answer someone will rage we didn't hit their question. It happens every time. BlizzCon "Oh man, idiots in that line, they didn't even ask about X! What a waste of time." And that's a literal line of first-come-first-serve questions! I will not argue that Ask the Devs is a perfect system, it has many flaws, but it's simple, it's fairly quick and easy for us to manage on a global level (which means faster answers for you), and in all fairness it does deliver us the most popular questions, which isn't a bad way to do it. That popularity isn't exactly fair in many respects, but it's the best we got.

Suggestions for improving the system are welcome, seriously, but rhetorical musings of our ability or willingness to answer the "meaningful" questions, are not.
