Thread Limits and Continuation Thread Rules

As some of you may remember on the old forums we had a thread limit of 500 posts per thread. The same limit existed on these new forums as well, but the functionality had been broken until now. You'll begin seeing threads cap again at around 500 posts/26 pages.

We're currently unable to extend thread limits, but are hoping that functionality will be able to be added back at some point in the future.

If a thread does cap, and you wish to create a continuation thread, we ask that you follow some simple rules:

Ensure someone hasn't already made a continuation thread

When creating a continuation thread, ensure the topic is clearly referencing the previous thread

Include a link to the original thread

Sum-up/cover the original topic, intent, and conversation to help facilitate further discussion

By following these simple rules you can ensure your continuation thread isn't locked or deleted.
