That which was once impossible...

(This is not a rant, or a moan, please read in your happy voice.)

Hello,

I've been a WoW player since the Vanilla Beta, on and off. Half way through changing to a new account following a hack. (I at the time had no idea Blizzard could even help me with, and was still a little too young and too noobish in the ways of the interweb to follow the correct procedure to get my account back, I simply saved up my pennies and brought another WoW.)

Back on subject; the point I'm trying to make is that I've been here since the start, like many others, I've seen some of the most drastic changes happen, and the seemingly impossible made a reality. "Shaman's on the Alliance? Your havin' a laugh mate! That'll never happen." - Quote my First ever Guild Master.

Throughout my Vanilla years, I desperately desperately wanted to change my character's appearance, I made countless annoying GM tickets asking and begging if the feature to do so would ever be implemented or if it was even on the drawing board. They all said No. :-(

But now here we are a few years later, Blizzard has grown as a company in both understanding of what they've created in World of Warcraft, but also it's community and their desires. Now this is where I feel the need to have a small quote from a lil'old King by the name of Gelbin Mekkatorque: "Necessity is the first cousin of invention."

You had truck loads of players wanting to change their face/hair/gender/rage/faction.
You invented the means for that which we were once told was impossible.
(As for the cost of a seemingly fully automated service you can see TotalHalibut's video's for my opinion on that, since mine and his are the same.) But your the bosses and if you want a few coins for a race change, I'll put in an extra hour at work, or drink a couple less pints on my next night out to balance it out. That's how I justify it anyway! :3

So then, what's next? What's the one method of customization you don't provide yet, and personally the one that I'd be willing to pay the most for, (c'mon listen up guys! You have the power to bank here! ;P)

Class Change!

Call me a nub, call me an idiot, tell me get get heirlooms and reroll but I don't want to. Since starting my new account I rolled a mage and have tried so hard to stick to just one character ever since, (having loads of characters to play was one of the reasons I had a burn out of WoW and the amount of time I was spending on the game was starting to affect my 'Are El'. I have one character most of the time, If I level an alt it's usually on a spur of boredom and the poor thing usually doesn't live past level 40 something... I want to keep all the time I devote to playing this game, which I so thoroughly enjoy, into one character. Since Wrath of the Lich King ended I've been wanting more and more to play a Druid again, just like I did in Vanilla. But all the pets/mounts/rep/achievements etc that I have worked so hard for on my Mage, I would never give it up to play another class as a main.

I guess you could say the "TL:DR" version of this is that, I'm a paying subscriber like everyone else. But the one missing feature from the character customisation options is meaning I can't enjoy the game as fully as I'd like to. A paid character class change with a loooong (with many O's) cooldown isn't out of the question is it? I believe I'm not the only person out there who would throw a few extra pennies your way for this service if it were available.

Thanks for takin' the time to read my post! Look forward to any reply. blue or non blue.
