why cant i fly about in these areas?

blizz -> wysłany:
it seems i have decided to go for the explorer achievement but as it stands i cannot fly around the following places

bloodmyst isle
azuremyst isle
ghostlands
eversong woods

this is really irritating considering i have paid for the skills to do so and can fly everywhere else, does anyone think that cataclysm was a little rushed or did they do this on purpose

It was a big job converting the old world and adding phasing and they just never got around to exodar and silvermoon, but they will eventually.

One should of course never say never, but it is rather unlikely that we will make flying possible in those TBC starting zones.
blizz -> wysłany:
The biggest reason why is that there is very little, if any, need for flying mounts in those zones. We can of course see that it would be a convenient thing for the explorers out there, but since it isn't really needed, and the fact that it would require a lot of work to make flying possible in those zones, we have instead chosen to focus our attention on other areas that would be of greater benefit to more players.

There are a great number of things that we would like to do in the game, but unfortunately there is not always enough time and resources to do all of those things, which means that we will need to make choices and prioritise some things over others.
