Well after cataclysm release one thing is sure. there is no unique class in the game. All classes do the same with other. Let me explain.
Rogue: What rogue had? stun. Even a specialization (maces) for stuns. It had stealth, a lockpicking. Now? nothing. Hunter has stealth, class is so easy (no specializations) and lockpicking is useless. I dont want extra armor (i am not a tank), or healing spells. I want to be unique.
DK: The new class. It was different. Three spec to tank, dps, pvp. that was the trick. Complex class with many choises. Now? Its like a warrior. One tank, one dps, one pvp. No unique.
Shaman: At the first of the game shamans had a meaning, now people laught at this class. It has nothing. Even bloodlust went to mages too. Resto is the worst class to heal, Elemental is on bottom of dps, and melee is .... melee like other classes.
Druid: You know the issue... shapeshifting, low heal, crappy dot for damage (melee). nothign unique.
The only classes that makes a difference is paladin (with bubbles), mage with frost, and warlocks with burst damage. I am just saying, try to make classes different from each other. I know you have no more ideas, game is old, but dont kill it that way. Just let it die old...
