I really hate the new healing mechanics, I haven't even seen a dungeon yet on this character and I can tell healing is not going to be something I want to do. It takes all my mana just to heal myself to 40% while questing now and I'm not even lev 85 yet. I am feral true, but still it should not take me one mana pot, two mana drinks and food to get my health back up to 100% Blizzard would have to make healing npcs if it were up to me to heal everyone the way the mechanics are now, because I will not be doing it. I have been saving up two sets of gear one for feral, one for bal, with the intention of respec to heals once I got geared. I wasted my time.
If I cannot heal myself well whats the point?
I haven't leveled my druid 80-85 yet but is Leader of the Pack not keeping you up? Are you not taking items to up your crit? Or are you just getting in over your head a lot? Stopping to heal while leveling Feral, IMO, means something is going wrong. Also, yes, basing dungeon healing from your self heals while in a DPS spec probably isn't the best meter for what actual healing is like. |

As I said, your heals while in Feral just aren't going to be the same. If something does go wrong, heal up and shift back. You're no worse for the wear. Anyway, I'd recommend looking at some guides for leveling talents, and potentially looking into swapping out a few glyphs. I'd probably make a few different choices than you have. And then of course just finding the best rotation, and making sure you're not pulling too much. |
