I don't even remember when was last time someone on my realm tried to organize some player run event. Some of these events used to be quite creative and fun.
Have these players who used to make these given up or moved to different game or is just community too hostile to even try organize these events(whining or just opposite faction coming to grief the event)?
Is there any realm where these happen? When was last one you remember and what event was it?

People are still very much focused on experiencing all the new content in Cataclysm, and a lot of people have rolled new characters in order to fully experience the revamped low level quests and zones as well... I am pretty sure we will see more player-run events again in the future, so give it some time :-)
Player-run events are still happening though, especially on RP realms, but you could always try and create your own events if RP is not your thing :-) |
