How do I know my post have been read? (suggestion)

blizz -> wysłany:
And here I mean by Blizzard. Answer is: I do not.

Even though I think that Blizz do their job and read through LOADS of post every day, I think it can be somehow frustrating not to know if my message got through.

The problem is I do not know by which criteria Blizzard pick posts to read (if these criteria is published public please do give me a link, I would love it ^^, though haven't been abel to find any atm.).
Do Blizz pick the post with most replies? Or do they take the ones with the best headline? Or do they actually read EVERY post (which I find unrealistic though if it is done, it is an amazing customer service!)

My solution to this is a following:
Make a little sign in the top of the post when a blizzard employee have seen the post.

This will allow us, the customers, to know if we have been heard or if we still need to fight for our post.
It won't interfere with the tracking of the Blues and it won't required an answer form a Blue.
At-least I would be very happy to know that the last 3 posts (including this) I have made on the forums have been noticed at all.

As a side note, I think it is very important that the name of the Blue who has read the post do not occur in any way (thinking here on the privacy and working conditions of the Blues.).

The idea is just a suggestion for a nice customer service =)

(Since the suggestion forum is gone, I have posted it here)

Please do ask questions if I am unclear in certain parts of the post.

What do you folks think of this idea?

p.s. I know that every one want a blue respond, though I would be honored and glad if there was just 1 respond, taking in consideration that the biggest problem of this idea might be an interference with some employment rules for the Blues which I am unaware off. For example this can maybe be abused to see which Blue is the most efficient, which defiantly is not the point.

This post has been read.

Seriously though, how do you know if your post has been read by someone from Blizzard? Well, we have no plans to place little tags all over the threads we read. But we do read a very large number of posts each day. We gather a lot of feedback from here, but the forums exist first and foremost for people to discuss WoW topics with each other.

Because I'll bet that some Blue's think, hey this Topic has been handled on the US boards already, they can "google" it, or check MMO-Champion.

Well that's plain not true. When new information was posted over in the US boards, we used to often re-post it over here too. I did it myself many times. But all too often we got lots of negative replies about such as "you're too slow", "already seen it on such and such site"...etc People didn't seem to really appreciate our efforts to post new information, even if it was only a few hours after posting in the US.

Anyhow, though the topic has been derailed in an all too familiar way, let's try and set this straight. Whatever the case -- whatever perfect situation you can imagine would solve everything -- the simple fact is that the development teams are based in the US and new information has been and will no doubt continue to be posted there before EU and the rest of the world. Sometimes the information just needs to be put out there, right now. It doesn't mean we're wanting to put US first, or the rest of the world last, it simply means we want the information out there in some form, as soon as possible.

Despite this, we do make great efforts to coordinate and translate announcements, including new information, for posting across the world through our blog in multiple languages at the same time.
