1- They allow non-case sensitive passwords.
2- There is no limit to how many passwords one can attempt
3- GMs have access to all logins, so they can easily sell them to goldfarming companies
So bots get it more easily.
It seems you have been quite misinformed, Ziikadius. Everyone has already pointed out the flaws in your theory however I will reiterate.
Keyloggers as the name implies logs all keystrokes, case sensitive or not. Your password could be blizzard or bLiZzArd and it would make no difference.
Though the account is not locked, there is a security feature in place to prevent multiple failed attempts.
Blizzard employees do not have access to your password nor do we ever ask for your password. If password security is a concern, I highly recommend the following:
* 123456 * Love * Sex * Firs/last name * Date of birth The above are only a few examples. If you do however have any suggestions on how we can improve account security feel free to post your ideas in our General Forum - http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/984270/ |
