Levelling speed...

blizz -> wysłany:
I appreciate that some people are deliberately racing to 85 for server firsts.. but a quick look at /who shows that at 6pm server time, 18 hours after cata went live, on my server the stats are:-

Level 85 - 10 people
Level 84 - 38 people
Level 83 - 49+ (/who limit is 49).

The same goes for 81 and 82, hitting the /who limit of 49.

I myself have been casually questing, and done one dungeon run, and am half way to 82.

All the zones, all the content is going to be burned through in a week ? Even if you play once a week, you'll make it in a month!

Did they really intend this.. ?
blizz -> wysłany:
People are free to rush to 85 if they wish to do so, we do not see a need to prevent that, but they will in most cases miss out on a lot of content if they choose to do so... they will for an example most likely not have tried both the Vashj'ir and Mount Hyjal questing experiences.

08/12/2010 22:42Posted by SouldrinkerI'm just hoping that all the effort that went into the expansion is in the endgame, cause at this rate, all the content will be gone in a few weeks at most.

There is plenty of new content in Cataclysm, but unlike our previous expansions, a lot of effort was put into revamping a huge chunk of the old content alongside the creation of new content... Quite a bit of the new content in cataclysm is best experienced with a new character, so it is safe to say that there has never been a better time to roll an alt. We have the new Goblin and Worgen content, which really is a ton of content, and the revamped zones throughout Azeroth offers completely new levelling and questing experiences as well. Oh, and I should not forget to also mention that there is an all new profession for you to skill up.

The endgame content is very important of course, so there is plenty of that for you to have a go at when you reach level 85. Also, more endgame content will be added later on for your enjoyment via content patches :-)

07/12/2010 18:21Posted by TarvasIs it just me or has the time that it takes to level decreased on every expanssion.

Well, this time there are only 5 new levels to go though as opposed to the 10 levels in previous expansions.
