How does it take another two hours?

Everything that needed to go live today was already patched weeks ago, and it's been on the PTR for weeks without incident.

That's accurate as far as the game client goes. Comparatively, patching data files on the client end (your computer) is very easy.

Patching the realm servers themselves is decidedly more complex, especially when it involves the majority of the game world being removed and then replaced with new data.

We did expect it to go smoother than it is, to be honest, but issues do crop up and we're working through them as quickly as possible. Unfortunately as quickly as possible is still estimated to now be 5pm. :\

We know everyone wants to get in and play, we worked really hard to get to this point, so we ask for only a few more hours of patience.

I'ma go crawl back in bed and read a book or something.
