Declare your allegiance—to celebrate the launch of Battle for Azeroth, we’re inviting World of Warcraft cosplayers to show us their stuff at gamescom 2018! On Friday, August 24, we’ll be holding an epic WoW Cosplay Showcase on our Blizzard stage at gamescom. Participants will be able to display their best Battle for Azeroth-inspired costumes to the roaring crowd in Cologne, Germany, and to the world via live stream. Spots are limited, so if you’d like the chance to take part, send an email in English or German to [email protected] by 23:59 CEST on July 8 with the following information:
Costumes must be specific to Battle for Azeroth, so those representing previous WoW content (Lich King, Illidan, etc.) will not be accepted. All characters must have up-to-date garb! The showcase is open to individuals age 13 years and over. To participate, you must be able to walk on stage without any assistance and answer a few questions in English or German. You’re also responsible for your own entry to gamescom 2018, and compensation is not available. See the official World of Warcraft Cosplay Showcase rules for additional details. Please note that this showcase is not a contest, so there are no prizes up for grabs. If you’d like to participate in the separate Blizzard Cosplay Contest at gamescom 2018, you’ll find the all details here. While you’re welcome to enter both events with the same costume, being selected to take part in the WoW Cosplay Showcase does not guarantee participation in the Blizzard Cosplay Contest, and vice versa. Those selected for the World of Warcraft Cosplay Showcase will be contacted with more information prior to the event. We look forward to seeing you bring Battle for Azeroth to life at gamescom! |
